My name is David Leger. I am a Master Certified Fly Casting instructor MCI, with the Federation of Fly Fishers. I love to fish especially for salt water species but I really love to teach fly casting. I have over the years, teaching hundreds of students, developed a kinesthetic (by feel) approach to learning the basic cast and double haul that is quick and easy.

Are you a beginner with no experience? Rest easy, my methods will have you performing the basic cast within minutes.

Are you an intermediate caster that needs just a bit more distance to feel confident when the guide says fish at 60 feet? Most of my students are amazed at the distances they are able to achieve even after one lesson.

Do you have physical challenges like a shoulder issue? Most of the time with the proper analysis and slight modifications to your cast, the issues become much less limiting.

I had a woman with no experience call me because her husband had booked a Tarpon trip in Homosassa Springs Florida, where the Tarpon can reach 200 pounds. She took two lessons and the guide she fished with told her that she was the best female caster he had ever had on his boat. She also hooked three fish.

Some form of eye protection and a hat are necessary for you to bring even though yarn indicators are used instead of hooks. I don't typically list lessons longer than one hour due to the tendency for student fatigue. I find it better to break apart lessons into one hour segments so that students can effectively incorporate more physically. For beginners two one hour sessions are recommended. $145 per person for a discounted package of two total one-hour lessons.

Starting at $215.00 Three one-hour lessons
